Height Graphs Male vs. Female

These two histograms illustrate the frequency of height ranges among males and females. As you can see both of the histograms have 6 data ranges, despite the fact that the data used to make each graph differs in minimum and maximum. As its also possible to see, there is one data range where the female graph has a frequency of zero, hence it shows how there was no females that were that height.

Moving on from the superficial details, lets analyze the graph further. First if you analyze the males chart you can see how it has a positive skew, since there is a higher frequency in the left side of the graph and it reduces as it goes right. Analyzing the female chart, you can see how there is no apparent skew since the histogram looks really random.

Like I previously pointed out, the charts have different minimum and maximum, but what I didn’t point out but is pretty obvious, is the fact that the difference is outcome on the difference in gender. The males are taller, so the data’s minimum and maximum are greater; on the other hand, the women are shorter so the data’s maximum and minimum are lower.
